An Intro / The Role

The Lloyd’s & London Market team joined Bruin in March 2019 as a brand new team / offering for Bruin. From March to December of that year the then team of 3 traded with 26 different clients. The team has since grown from strength to strength adding more clients, more consultants and most importantly, more opportunity. 2021 has seen the team breaking all records both individually and as a unit resulting in exceeding £1m in revenue for a still relatively small unit.

A strategic hire, we are now keen to employ a Claims Consultant to manage all Claims roles from our unrivalled client base. Walking into an extremely busy team you will immediately be introduced to our extensive client base as the Claims specialist. Within this role you will dictate the speed of the desks growth and be backed with investment to build your team.

This is a brand new approach to the way we work. Its aim is to free up our existing consultants time of Claims roles to create this one-off rare opportunity.

What's a normal day?

  • Manage the 360° recruitment lifecycle. This will entail taking responsibility for sourcing roles, identifying suitable candidates, arranging interviews and handling feedback and offers

  • To develop our existing client base and generate new business for the desk and the wider company

  • To generate new business opportunities through a range of events and have the chance to develop strong relationships with both candidates and clients

  • To use sophisticated sales techniques and approaches to support the growth and commitment of our candidate and clients

  • To work as a true consultant to our clients, anticipating needs and finding solutions to their human capital concerns

  • Develop your professional network using a variety of innovative and attractive solutions

  • Source candidates from both the active and passive candidate market

  • Conduct professional candidate meetings and agree action plans with all suitable candidates

  • Keep on top of marketplace innovations and trends to ensure we are perceived as market leaders. Share this marketplace intelligence with your desk

What we're looking for

We are looking for a proactive, hard-working and organised individual to join the Lloyd’s and London Market team to take ownership of the Claims recruitment. We are keen to talk with recruiters who are looking to continue or build upon your career within recruitment to date. Managerial experience is desired by no means a pre requisite if you are being held back currently or keen to make that transition.
