Today is the start of Mental Health Awareness week.
Mental Health Awareness week is an annual event when there is an opportunity for the whole of the UK to focus on achieving good mental health. 🧠
This year the focus of Mental Health Awareness week is Loneliness. Loneliness is affecting more and more of us in the UK and has a huge impact on our physical and mental health.
Connecting with other people is fundamental to protecting our mental health so this week, we are encouraging everyone in the business to take time out of their days to pick up the phone and call a friend, family member or colleague they haven’t spoken to in a while. 👩👦
Talking makes all the difference so let’s crack on and make those calls!
